Built between 1443 and 1451, Palais Jacques Cœur gives children a picture of the quintessential French stately home, a residence protected from the street by galleries.

Its architectural unity, harmonious proportions and functional features make it an ideal monument for exploring a number of topics.

The education programme is being developed to complement the initiatives led by the city of Bourges' heritage department. The focus will be on devising discovery tours and heritage workshops that are not currently provided by this department.

Events at Palais Jacques Cœur in 2016:
-       Exhibition by students at the Bourges school of fine arts (Palémétrébo), adapted tours available
-       Tours and workshops in keeping with this year’s commemoration of Duke John of Berry
